If the City of Chicago or the State of Illinois eventually get a federal government bailout, the main cause will be pensions, not corporate subsidies.
I'm not saying I agree with corporate subsidies. I'm saying that as long as you're doing them, there's a good argument to giving them to sports teams, as they are part of the cultural fabric of the city.
